The NOVA-UM series 20W-1920W high power LED area light is built on YIBAI LED LIGHTING‘s core technological innovation in solid state lighting to deliver reliable and cost-effective LED lighting solutions. The NOVA-UM LED floodlight provides significant energy and maintenance savings over traditional metal halide and high pressure sodium (HPS) systems with a long rated operation life that virtually eliminates ongoing maintenance. Beyond an impressive ROI, NOVA-UM has been constructed to maximize both performance and reliability that facilitate greater product application in large areas, including sports complexes, parking lots, airport aprons, railway terminals, port and industrial facilities.
Featuring a modular design to provide design flexibility, facilitate field maintenance and accommodate future technology upgrades, the NOVA-UM high power LED luminaire operates up to 12 integral LED modules to produce an industry-leading output of 249,600 lumens with luminous as high as 160 LPW. The modular LED engines make use of Lumileds’ high flux-density chip scale packaging technology to achieve high efficacy and flux at high current density. These powerful modules are designed with a high efficiency thermal path thanks to high packing density on a PCB obtained through direct bonding of LED chips to a metallized ceramic substrate.
NOVA-UM integrates the heat sinking between the LED modules and heavy duty aluminum housing to maintain junction temperature of LED at lowest possible value. The metal core based LED modules provide high lumen density with minimal performance degradation over their designed lifespan as a result of optimized thermal link between the high power LED ceramic submounts and MCPCB. The interlocking construction creates an interconnected, adequately dimensioned thermal path from the LED die through the heat sinks of LED modules to the aluminum housing. Aerodynamic vents provide an air ventilation route for convective cooling and reduce wind load of the fixture.
A choice of secondary optics can be molded over the LEDs of NOVA-UM light engines and allow for multiple beam patterns to provide the highest efficiency and utilization required for a specific application. Available with spot, narrow, medium, wide, horizontal and forward throw light distributions, precision molded optical lenses provide superior field to beam ratios, minimal light trespass and improved visual acuity regardless of the mounting height. These lenses are sealed in place to LED boards to ensure precise/permanent alignment between the LED and optic. YIBAI LED LIGHTING’s double-lock coupling silicone gasketing technology gives the LED modules IP68 rated watertight integrity.
The NOVA-UM Series LED luminaires are operated by IP67 and UL wet rated Inventronics drivers with output currents ranging from 800 to 1200 mA. These constant current LED drivers are fully equipped with a large number of features to deliver high efficiency, high power factor, low harmonic distortion and exceptional system reliability over a wide range of operating conditions.
NOVA-UM’s rugged and solid construction provides high vibrational stability. The aluminum housing are TGIC polyester powder coated for superior weatherability and corrosion resistance. A heavy duty, adjustable yoke bracket with aiming degree markers provides ease of installation.
